Jazz Tan Yee Mei
Founder and Chairwoman
Miss Jazz Tan Yee Mei is the founder and chairwoman of YToday Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian community builder with a core interest in technology, marketing, and education.
Her commitment to the global community is reflected in her role as the founder of YouthsToday.com, the largest community focused social enterprise. Her lifelong dedication to youth development and the broader global community is integrated into YToday’s initiatives, which now reach over 150,000 individuals across Malaysia.
Stanley Chee
Director
Stanley Chee, who joined as an angel investor alongside the founder in 2013, has over 10 years of strong marketing and technical background, and over 20 years of experience in building and running digital businesses. He co-founded OffGamers.com from scratch, achieving the USD 10 million annual revenue mark in less than six years. Stanley is highly familiar with the U.S.A., China, and South East Asia markets.
Marcel Gan
Director
Marcel Gan, who joined as an angel investor alongside the founder in 2013, brings over 20 years of business experience with Himalaya. He has built 25 of their own boutiques and established a presence in more than 2000 pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and doctors’ offices, achieving an annual revenue turnover of over USD 10 million.
Kenneth Tan
Director (Representative of Gobi MAVCAP)
In 2018, Kenneth joined the board of YToday Sdn Bhd as a director, helping to expand the organization’s reach and impact. Kenneth joined Gobi in 2014 and is responsible for identifying potential deals in ASEAN, with a special focus on the CLMV countries. He also manages existing portfolio companies and assists the management with fundraising efforts from potential Limited Partners. He graduated with a B.B.A. from the National University of Singapore in 2016 and is an avid sports enthusiast, capable of playing over 10 different sports.
Juliana Jan
Corporate Representative of Cradle Fund
Juliana Jan, currently SVP Grant at Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, joined the company in 2004. She has extensive experience in market research, grants, and venture capital funding, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Missouri University of Science and Technology – Rolla.
Juliana started as an analyst and quickly advanced to lead various grant evaluation teams. She played a key role in developing Cradle’s products and processes, including CIP Catalyst, CIP500, and the Co-investment and DEQ800 initiatives.
In 2018, Cradle invested in YToday Sdn Bhd, and Juliana now sits on the board as a corporate representative. Before joining Cradle, she worked as a market research executive in a technology-funding agency, where she gained expertise in identifying market trends and needs. She also has experience in venture capital funding.
Juliana is passionate about helping entrepreneurs and start-ups, leveraging her knowledge to advise and assist Cradle recipients.
